NEW YORK HOTEL REVIEW:
We were smitten with the Royalton the instant we stepped inside. The heavy door and wood/slate interior reminded us of the Clift, and the lobby lounge is recessed for a cozy and well-lit tryst over drinks. We ordered a champagne cocktail made with Grey Goose La Poire, a subtle complicity we've yet to see mastered since.
Rushing through the city, champagne on your tongue, rock'n'roll at your feet. Slurring through downtown speakeasies, raucous warehouses, and bold, swanky, rooftops. Breathless conversation, skylines for days, and city views that skip a beat. They call it New York, but we say it's drop dead.
