NEW YORK HOTEL REVIEW:
We're trying to remember if we've walked through the hotel lobby and we're leaning towards possibly not, despite trips to the neighborhood dungeon which they've named subMercer lounge.
New York has its highs as much as its lows, and on our commute between rooftops and basement bars, we've settled on something good here. With a separate entrance from the hotel and a wine cellar vs. grotto design feud, we love subMercer for its DJ selection and fairly reasonable drink prices, though you'll want to make this a later stop in your night.
Rushing through the city, champagne on your tongue, rock'n'roll at your feet. Slurring through downtown speakeasies, raucous warehouses, and bold, swanky, rooftops. Breathless conversation, skylines for days, and city views that skip a beat. They call it New York, but we say it's drop dead.
