We loved French Tuesdays for its swirl of effortlessly styled venues, smoky, amber-scented samples from L'Artisan Parfumeur, and a deeply enriching sponsorship from Laurent Perrier. We can still taste our first glass of this dry bubbly as we toasted our new, devastatingly French friends.
A gorgeous standout from international champagne powerhouse Mumm, this rosé is as smashing as it is sophisticated. We've popped bottles for our W events and toasted occasions big and small (but as far as we are concerned, champagne needs no occasion...)
Hardly a surprise in this list, but a staple for the high and particularly mundane occasions to which it is assigned. There is nothing more decadent than a glass of Veuve during a pedicure, or while catching up with friends who've just dropped by. We're hardly without bias when it comes to bubbly, and this one just feels right.
More than just a gorgeous bottle, this champagne has carried us through moments when Laurent Perrier wasn't available and has fast gained our fervor in its own right. While slightly less dry, we love the hint of sweetness that reminds us of afternoon tea and second desserts.
Our first taste of this brilliant sparkling wine was at a restaurant opening near the Ferry Building in San Francisco. Featured in an open house with other California winemakers, our friend instantly signaled for the bartender to pour us a glass. "You MUST try THIS!" And we've been smitten ever since...
We feel strongly that Napa sparkling wines are on par with their Champagne sisters, and nothing proves our point better than this sparkling rosé from the Napa outpost of G.H. Mumm, Reims. Subtle but still tartly acidic, we love bringing an extra bottle of this to toast the host during a cocktail party.
