FEATURED BERLIN HOTEL REVIEW:
The Lux is a Design Hotel notable for its clean modernism and extraordinarily adequate first floor restaurant. Our room was large and had a floor to ceiling window, but it was the shower where most of the design was focused. A slight wall partition was all that separated the shower from the rest of the bathroom, like a semi-colon bisecting a sentence. The hotel was well situated in our favorite part of Berlin, Mitte, and a short walk from our friend's show at a nearby slow dive.
Bold steel architecture, centuries-old street corners, buildings peering through history, modern slicing through historic, More than two former parts of a whole, the city is restless with design and architecture, overwhelmed by cutting edge dining, and the warmest of welcomes to a professional sensory addict. We're smitten with Mitte and ravenous for the lifestyle - smart, affordable, and crowded with well-designed experiences.
